Eyeries village has won several silver awards for its tidiness and general presentation in the tidy towns of Ireland. The beautiful colourful village boasts a Playground, a Sensory Garden, a Restaurant (Eyeries Bistro – I can arrange to book in advance), Post Office/Shop, Newsagents, Supermarket, seasonal Coffee Shop, two Pubs with live music at weekends and a very pretty Church. Eyeries hosts an annual Family Festival and road race (Eyeries 5 mile). There are several local artists, storytelling events.
HOW TO FIND US: Just before you arrive at Eyeries you will see the sports ground coming up on your right.Formanes House is signposted just before the sports ground on your left-hand side. When you get to Eyeries do not take the left turn into the village, instead continue on past the sports ground on the left and Formanes House is signposted immediately on your right-hand side.

Formanes is on The Wild Atlantic so you can drive some of Irelands wonderful coastline that is the Wild Atlantic Way taking in the wonderful Beara Peninsula in West Cork. With some of West Corks most well know walks and cycle route you will be sure to have a great time.
